Heat Advisory

(Robeson County, NC notification) Hot and humid conditions will continue through this weekend with highs generally in the 90s away from the coast. The worst conditions should occur Sunday when a Heat Advisory may be needed for heat indices of at least 105 degrees for most areas. Isolated to scattered showers and storms expected each day, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Emergency Management would like to remind you to avoid outdoor activities during midday heat, if possible and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
